Which university (in the U.S.) has the most hands-on wildlife ecology/biology classes?

I've just finished my first year of college and am quite bored with sitting around in lecture halls. I want to go into wildlife ecology of some sort, and I want to be able to be outside experiencing it as as possible when I learn. I've tried looking around different university websites, but their course descriptions don't say much at all, and nothing has come up about hands-on experience in everyday classes.

So, are there any universities that have a lot of hands-on classes in their curriculum?Which university (in the U.S.) has the most hands-on wildlife ecology/biology classes?
UC Davis has an excellent Wildlife, Fish, and Conservation major. The majority of classes you will have to take will be lecture but the hands on classes are awesome! Remember though if you want to do something hands on an internship is always the best way!

Humboldt State University

They have an excellent Wildlife Management program, and it has a redwood forest right behind it! That's where I went, and I still remember fondly the many hours spent counting Trillium, or salamanders or....

One thing to remember, there's no way around the time spent in lectures and labs - the outdoor work is mostly IN ADDITION TO the indoor work, but it's worth it.
University of Maine at Orono

Check out their website at: http://www.wle.umaine.edu/ - lots of photos and explanations of the programs.
