I use coloring books for design ideas! Scan them into computer and work out the coloration from there with Paint.
Hi, try AnntheGran.com lots of freebies and soooooomuch stuff on there..also I am a fan of Bobbin-buzz.com also try emblibrary.com...these sites have really excellent freebies and you can also purchase items..I have purchased from all 3 and have made my hubby a motorcycle vest using one of emblibrary designs....and it was really great he loves it wears it all the time.
I have found the best designs on Embroidery Library (emblibrary.com), They have some gorgeous jacket backs in native american motifs. Especially one which is a large dream catcher type design with a white buffalo at the top, a wolf on one side, bear opposite and a deer at the bottom. One the inside sections from each animal is their foot track.





They also have the foot prints of each one to use in an applique type design. Not only what would be considered North American animals but also African animals.
Look/Ask on the Yahoo Group ';Hooked On Embroidery'; - they are a great group and really help out finding designs and have some great digitizers on there too. Just go to Yahoo home page - www.yahoo.com and then click on groups and search groups and search for their name and it should come up. Lots of wonderful information, help and free designs on there, too! There are also tons of other embroidery groups on there for home and commercial machines. Some that are directed to people who are businesses for embroidery and some for home machines. There are also tons of groups that specialize in every phase of embroidery from digitizing to your specific machine brand with all the how to's included but I think Hooked on Embroidery is the Best! Hint: just sign up for the 'daily digest' or you will get too many emails if you go 'individual emails in the sign up area of any Yahoo Group. :) Jill
