What's a good way to disguise yourself during wildlife shoots to prevent grasshoppers from jumping on you ????

Dress up like a praying mantisWhat's a good way to disguise yourself during wildlife shoots to prevent grasshoppers from jumping on you ????
Disguise against hoppers?......that aint gonna happen, grasshoppers are the most voaracious creatures alive, they have only 2 criteria for living, to eat and to mate. in 1996, hoppers were so bad at my place that they ate the paint off the side of my house and they ate the silver paint off the tops of my steel fence posts (they didnt eat the green paint on the lower parts of the post).....all you can do is wear a net over you and duct tape it around your ankles. What's a good way to disguise yourself during wildlife shoots to prevent grasshoppers from jumping on you ????
I think any sort of disguise would just make more of them jump on you. Bug spray might help but they would have to jump on you first to know that you have it on.

Your best bet is to make ';lemonade out of lemons';; as grasshoppers jump on you grab them and stuff them in a bag. Gather a good number of them.

When you get home take off the legs and squeeze clean the abdomen then pan fry to a good crisp in butter. A dash of salt and pepper to taste.

I have done this many times camping.
I think maybe you need a shield, as part of it, They make a hat that has insect netting that covers your face. This would also protect you from all other insects, EXCEPT THEM KILLER BEES MAN!!! THEY BAD!!!!!!!! Don't be a teesin them now,,, ya hear????DONT YOU BE MESSIN WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NOT the killer bees! Best that you go ahead and STAY AWAY from them!!! How do you think they got the name man?!! There's a good reason isn't there? If you go out there, and enough of these B's git ahold of you,,,, You... SURELY,,, Will be sorry!.... good luck!
animals can smell bug sprays. Depending on where you live, you can find some bushes that have a natural capacity to keep bugs away. One, for example, is the wax myrtle. You just crush leaves in your hand and rub them on your arms and legs and no bugs.
Are you afraid of grasshoppers?

I don't think there's anything you can wear to keep grasshoppers from jumping on you, but you might try and insect repelling spray. that may work.
Bug spray will do the trick,,,,but if you are so concerned about grasshoppers, maybe you should consider other types of photography.
Become one with the grasshopper young grasshopper.
disuuise yourself as a big seagull
