What wildlife do you have in your garden,serious answers only please?

hedgehogs, spiders ( lots of them) birds and have seen a snake. slugs at night and my 5 moggies.

I live in rural South Australia and in my garden there are Shingleback Lizards, Geckos, Skinks, Brown Snakes, Inland Taipans, Bearded and Mallee Dragons, Legless Lizards, Painted Burrowing Frogs, Microbats, several different species of parrots including Mallee Ringnecks, Mulgas, Red-Rumps, Adelaide Rosellas, Galahs, other birds including at least 4 species of Honey Eaters, common Sparrows, Ravens, Choughs, Black Kites, Magpies, Varigated Fairy Wrens....Western Grey and Red Kangaroos, Wombats, Echidnas, and several species of mouse sized native marsupials that I have as of yet not identified.What wildlife do you have in your garden,serious answers only please?

this am heron landed on decking.tonight we will have bats .
pigeons, squirrels, blue **** and the occasional rabbit

Bloody foxes live under the shed and cause no end of nuisance.





There are plenty of frogs and toads, and we have seen a slow-worm.





Apart from them, we have the usual selection of birds, snails, insects and worms.
Outer London/Kent border. Saw a hedgehog last night, the foxes are a damn nuisance, numerous birds, and we got rid of rats early this year.

strangest thing i have seen is green parakeets(no joke loads of em)apparently they have been here since the film africa queen was made at pinewood or elstree and made themselves at home
In my garden not only do I have the usual bugs and ants there are rabbits,quail,and an occasional coyote. Not to say anything about the human wildlife during and after a BBQ.
I have no garden at this time, but the wildlife is here. I have seen within 150 ft of my house.

I am lucky, we have a big really wild garden and have seen rabbits, squirrels, deer, frogs and toads, and this year are lucky enough to have badgers. As for birds there are so many - woodpeckers, buzzards and peacocks being the most interesting.


Last year we had a cow visit the patio - but I dont think it was wild !! lol
worms, loads of them. but not much more as i moved into a house with a low maintenance garden that is not wildlife friendly.


used to have more when in the country.


one day i'll be back there. cant wait.
T1ts - blue, great, coal, blackbirds, thrushes, two jays, doves, hedgehogs, rats, bumble bee nest, greenfinches, goldfinches.
Where I live, there's not much wildlife, but there's plenty of introduced feral life, LOL.

Alligator lizards. Fence lizards. California legless lizards. Gopher snakes.


Birds - I'm not a birdwatcher, so I don't know what kinds. Mockingbirds and scrubjays and red-tailed hawks and pigeons. Also feral parrots possibly ';red-fronted conures.';


field mice, jackrabbits, coyotes, opossums, squirrels (two species), rats, skunks, feral cats, pocket gophers.
Small deer's, wild boars, foxes, badgers, the odd snake, slow worm, grass snake etc. weasel, and all sorts of birds, I live in Switzerland at around 1500 feet and in a semi rural area that borders on a small forest, so these things are quite often seen, not every day of coarse.
We have a load of frogs. and a load of ants. and some little bugs. worms, centipedes and all the usual creepy crawlies. Every now and then we get various birds eating the bugs.
Hedgehogs and we had a fox on our shed roof once!

a friendly robin, lots of wild birds in fact...

oh and bats too
lots of birds- blackbirds, thrushes, magpies, ravens, collared doves and wood pigeon. I saw a Jay there, once.





We also get squirrels and hedgehogs. Last year we had a vixen, and she used to take food from our hands, and even used to come into the kitchen, to be fed. She wasn't seen for a few weeks, then when she turned up again, she had 2 babies with her.
