Webcam: Close-up of birds and wildlife, How?

Project:

Video-tape some birds that come very close to a feeder near my window.

Problem:

Every time I tip-toe over to film, they fly away.

Possible solutions:

Webcam with 24'+ of cable

OR

Wireless Webcam

Is 24' of usb cable a practical solution. Do they make inexpensive wireless webcams?

Can I do this for under $150.

Suggestions appreciated! :-)

(I live in a rural area and have feeders for other animals that I would like to get a close-up video of, so a wireless solution could be great)Webcam: Close-up of birds and wildlife, How?
For around $150 you can buy a small camcorder that would give you the ability to zoom in on the nests, feeders, etc and record them in much higher resolution.

Most camcorders have an accessory that will allow you to use power off the mains, so you don't have to charge you battery every three to four hours.Webcam: Close-up of birds and wildlife, How?
#1.yes i think they do make wireless webcams but i cna not

think of there names right now.

#2 i would set up the webcam in the late evening when most of the birds have nested for the night.

#3turn the webcam on befor it get light enough for the birds

get out .

#4 good luck.
