How do you become a wildlife officer?

I just wanted to know what steps a person needs to take in order to become a wildlife officer. Do they need to go to university? If yes, are there specific subjects that they need to study in VCE?

I'm going to school to be a fish biologist and many game wardens get the same degree, it's fisheries and wildlife biology and it's a 4 yr degree in biology, they sometimes get a criminal justice degree with a minor in wildlife biology or something similar, talk to your local state wildlife agency and ask for requirements for their game wardens.How do you become a wildlife officer?
