Why dont we protect the rest of the land we have for wildlife and for endangered species?

Because the human population keeps increasing, and the demands each person makes on the earth in terms of use of resources per person keeps increasing. Thus, more and more land is always required to met the demands of the population. This is known as ';economic growth'; and it is considered by our leaders to be a good thing, for some perverted reason.





If we could only find some way to slow down this monster called ';economic growth';, we could do as you suggest.
