I want to be a wildlife biologist but don't know how to become one.How do you become a wildlife biologist?
Go to college and earn at least a Bachelor of Science degree in either biology, zoology, wildlife management, wildlife studies, conservation ecology, etc. While in school, try and do some volunteering, internships, or seasonal jobs working with wildlife during the spring or summer season to gain some hands-on experience. Once you graduate, start applying for jobs with an environmental consultant firms, a government agency, universities, non-profits, museums, etc. You may find that you have to do some more seasonal work or earn a higher degree before you are qualified to get full time work, it all depends on experience gained while in school. Try working with a professor on campus that is doing research relevent to your degree. How do you become a wildlife biologist?
Go to college and major in Biology, Wildlife, Zoology, Ecology or something similar. Do internships and volunteer work in the summers. Go to graduate school and do a thesis project with an animal/topic you'd like to work with in the future.
