I would say it depends on the background and settings. Example, that picture you posted looks like it would fit in more with black and white as opposed to color, it has an eery feeling about it, which is why it is better in B%26amp;W. but say it is in the jungle, or a dead field in africa, I think it would go better in color.
It's ';Wildlife';, the natural setting is part of that.
