What impact is wildlife extinction having on asia and the world as a whole?

Because of food chains and food webs, extiction has a domino effect. Once one species dies out, the species that fed on it struggles to replace the food souce. This induced further population reductions as more species are competing for fewer food sources and eventually, species numbers begin to dwindle causing threatened and endangered populations possibly leading to further extinctions. Everything is so intereconnected becauset he world is essentially one big ecosystem and food web that when one species is negatively affected, it trickles through the whole food web. Extinction is a very slippery slope.
